One thing we hear a lot about is the blond hair Aborigines, but it could be possible that these blondes came from the same source as the blond hair native Americans AFTER the Europeans began to pollute their gene pool?

Australia began as a dumping ground for the British convicts and you can use your own imagination to consider their morality.

To know if the original Aborigines had blond hair, the physical remains of pre-British populations would have to be examined for the gene that produces blond hair. If no such DNA existed before the Europeans, then the original Aborigines did not have blond hair.

Above is are pictures of Europeans and Aborigines mingling. As you move into more isolated areas of Australia the light hair seems to dwindle?

As you find very early pictures of Aborigines, there is a very little hint of any light skin or blond hair.

One great hint that Europeans have been mingling with native people is when the native people are wearing clothes of Europeans. In the very early pictures of Aborigines with no clothes, there is not a hint of blond hair that I have seen yet.

Yes DNA can determine hair eye, hair and skin color. The DNAPrint test is now being used by the FBI and in blind test it has been found to be 99.999% accurate.
