Before you join any Yahoo Group

Yahoo groups are different than chat.
CHAT: In chat, you don't have any time to research and every thing you write vanishes like a puff of smoke.
GROUPS: In groups you can do your research, look up references and present your case. What each side has to say is recorded in an archives for all the world to read.

TWO KIND OF GROUPS

There are two kinds of groups with good and bad parts.
ANNOUNCEMENT: The announcement group only allows the group owner to post his stuff. This eliminates name calling, cat fights and post that have nothing to do with the group topic.
The down side is the group owner can not be cross examined and you can not argue with anything he writes to the group.

OPEN FORM: In the open form everyone gets to make their case. If I write something today and you don't get home for 5 hours, you can respond at your own convenience.
Every thing that you write goes to an archives.
The down side is people curse, they have cat fights, they post all kind of unrelated bs and some times they fill your in box with junk.
If I boot people off, then all sides can not be heard. I have nothing but a kangaroo court.
I have found the best solution, but first you must decide if you want to receive a newsletter which I post when I make my arguments of an open form.

You must have a Yahoo e-mail address and be ready to type in your password if you are not already logged in.
You can get another free yahoo e-mail address if you want to keep the present one private.
After you have a Yahoo identity / e-mail address, go here

Scroll down and click to join
You chose not to receive mail to your in box, so to read post that you send, go here

#5 The ultimate way to handle Yahoo groups
Juno or Net Zero are free e-mail programs you can download. You can use their e-mail programs for free.
If you decide you can also use them for your web provider ( now $10.00 while most others range from $18 to #22)

You can download Juno or Net Zero from the internet. First make sure there is a local provider that is not long distance (they have hundreds all over the US and Canada)   Juno download  http://my.juno.com/s/download order their free CD a couple weeks http://www.juno.com/signup/cd.html  See if there is a number that is not long distance http://my.juno.com/s/numbers

You can use these e-mail programs with no effect on what you are using right now.
The first screen will say E-mail World Wide Web. If you are using it as a supplement program, never click on World Wide Web, click on E-mail.
After you get Juno / Net installed, send a post to
jews-uncensored-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
You will receive a confirmation post, click on reply and send it back.
You are now in the group and can post to the group.
Once you begin posting from an e-mail on the internet, it won't be long until they get your address and send you endless sales junk.
Your e-mail program has a filter, where you can keep out the trash, but they can change e-mail addresses like changing socks.
Here is the solution to that BS
Create a folder and give it a name. The filter program allows you to determine what to do with e-mail addresses you select.
You can make a folder from a Yahoo group, one for family, one for an actual company you want to hear from.
When you get e-mail, tell your filter in which folder you want to put this e-mail address.
After you get it configured, you are in business... all the trash sent to you by idiots who are selling junk will go to the in box... The in-box is your junk box.
The way I like to treat it, is to highlight the top message, hold down, shift, ctrl and press end... every thing is highlighted.
Then I press Del... deleting all their trash with out reading a word.

Using Juno is great. When it starts, click on E-mail, close 2 ads then get your e-mail. You are connected and back off line in 2 minutes
Now you can read and respond to any post or you can compose your own and send to the group.
You can click on Reply a post from the group or send your post to
jews-uncensored@yahoogroups.com

Juno works with out a connection to the internet by using the E-mail option or it will work with your present web service while you are connected to the internet.
When you get e-mail from a group, from someone you don't like, use your filter to put his stuff in the in box.
INBOX becomes JUNK MAIL BOX
