Any actual Sephardic Jews would be descendants of the invading Muslims.

MUSLIMS SPREAD THROUGH OUT EUROPE

India, Africa, through out all middle east countries the Muslims spread. In the beginning it was the spread of religion more than armies. Islam started out in Saudi Arabia and their population nor military technology was any match for any of the other great Arab nations. Islam at first was not spread by military might, but by religious conversion.

ONLY AFTER the Europeans invaded the middle east, did the middle east natives (Muslims) return the favor and invade Europe.

The thing that bound France, Germany, Italy, England together was their religion ... and the thing that bound the middle east nations together was their religion.

Afonso III (1210-79), king of Portugal (1248-79), who seized the throne after a two-year civil war with his brother Sancho II, who had ruled since 1223. Afonso III's father was Afonso II. In 1250-51 Afonso III conquered the Moorish kingdom of Algarve for Portugal.

Abd-ar-Rahman (died 732), Arab soldier and emir of Spain (731-32). He became governor of southern France in 721. In 732, when the growth of Frankish power menaced the Muslim position in Spain, he led an army across the Pyrenees Mountains into the dominions of the Franks. His army met the Franks, led by Charles Martel, near Tours, France, later that year.

In effect, Justinian’s western conquests gave medieval Europe its characteristic cultural pattern. The Mediterranean coast and Spain became severed from the economically and culturally underdeveloped north. They were now in effect part of the Middle East, a development consummated in the 7th century, when North Africa, Spain, and parts of southern France fell to Muslim armies.

When the German invaders conquered the western Roman Empire in the 5th century, they destroyed the professional Roman army and substituted their own armies, made up of warriors who served their chieftains for honor and booty. The warriors fought on foot and lived off the countryside. As long as they fought one another, they needed no cavalry. But when the Muslims, the Vikings, and the Magyars invaded Europe in the 8th, 9th, and 10th centuries, the Germans found themselves unable to deal with these rapid-moving armies.

Through the centuries millions of middle east Muslims swarmed through Italy, France, Spain, Portugal.

When the Europeans first invaded the middle east they did not have women in their military. The rape of Arab women left untold numbers of bastard children of Europeans. (Of course the righteous European crusaders, were not taking these little brown face Arab women home to meet the folks, but they polluted the natives of the middle east with a population of mixed white, black and brown population).

When the Muslim returned the invasions to Europe, they did not have women in their military ... and (like Europeans) men will be men, they too left untold multitudes of bastard children in Portugal, Italy, France and Spain. As the Europeans deposited a population of white face descendants in the middle east, the Muslims deposited millions of brown/black face bastards in the Spaniards, French and Italians. These dark face descendants of Muslims pop up in southern Europe, generation after generation.

If any Italians or Spaniards have any claims to being descendants of the Israelites, it would not be through the cult of Italians/Spaniards who converted to mock Judaism, but it would be through their Muslim ancestors who invaded southern Europe.

By the end of 2 Kings about 20 million Israelites were scattered through out the middle east and into North Africa. When they returned, only a trivial fraction of them returned

Ezra Chapter 2:64. The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,.. 65. Beside their servants and their maids, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and there were among them two hundred singing men and singing women. (Servants were NOT Israelites)

At the time the Romans had invaded Palestine, they wrote there were more Jews living in Egypt than in all of Israel... and of course Egypt was only one of the many middle east nations the Israelites were scattered.

Acts Chapter 2

5. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

9. Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10. Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, 11. Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

By the time the Romans had invaded Palestine, the Israelites were already scattered through out the Arab nations and only a small fraction of them returned to Israel.

After the account in Ezra where less than 50,000 Israelites returned to Israel, we read in the book of Esther, that the great multitude remained through out the Persian empire

Esther 1:1 1. Now it came to pass in the days of Ahasuerus, (this is Ahasuerus which reigned, from India even unto Ethiopia, over an hundred and seven and twenty provinces:)

[ In the book of Esther.. the trivial number of Israelites who returned, put away their foreign wives and their own children .. but here in the book of Esther.. After that fraction of Jews returned, the masses of Israelites remained scattered through out the middle east nations.]

Esther 8: 9. Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces ....

When the Romans invaded Palestine, the masses of Israelites were already dispersed through out the middle east and Israel was populated by ..... men, out of every nation under heaven, Parthians, Medes, Elamites, dwellers in Mesopotamia, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, parts of Libya , Cretes and Arabians.

The masses of the Israelites were already scattered and assimilated into the middle east and north Africa, 300 years before the Romans invaded.. the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces.

About 1000 years after the Israelites were dispersed and assimilated into the middle east nations, Islam arrived. Of course these Arab Israelites had long lost track of their Israelite ancestors and were absorbed into the tide of Islam.

There would of course have been an unknown multitude of Israelite descendants in the Muslims who invaded India, Portugal, Italy and Spain.

Religion does not stop rapist... and in wars, warriors rob, pillage and rape. If indeed there are any Israelite descendants in Italy or Spain, they are not from the cult which converted to mock Judaism, but the Italian / Spanish descendants of the Israelites are the descendants of the Muslim invaders, who are from the Israelites dispersed and assimilated into the Arab nations after God scattered them in his anger.

If any one could actually track their ancestors to Spain or Italy, the only way those ancestors would be the descendants of the Israelites would be by their great grandma's being raped by the invading Muslims, (who were the assimilated descendants of the Israelites).

While a great multitude of Spaniards and Italians were converted to Islam, when the Muslims were driven back into the middle east (Like Americans in Vietnam) they left an untold multitude of bastard children. Through generations that shame was forgotten and those descendants were brought up as Christians. Millions of Christians who are descendants of the bastards produced by Muslim invaders.. but yet.. because those Muslims were/are the descendants of the Israelites, so are those present day (brown face) Spaniard and Italian Christians... descendants of the Israelites.
