I will continue to update this web page with the scriptures living in Arabia and the Arabians living in Israel. There are pages and pages of information to support the Israelites being scattered through out Arabia. I won't try to put it on a single web page, if you want to read through the pages I write as I go through the scriptures look to the archives in Yahoo groups.. I have a group I post to, the archives are found here http://groups.yahoo.com/The-Bible/messages I am an old man, healthy as far as I know, but when I stop kicking my messages will remain until Yahoo figures the groups are not active. Copy any pages you want. It is best to copy from my web pages that do not have ads so they are not copied to the htm file.
The Israelites never ceased to mingle with the people of Saudi Arabia / Yemen. Some Israelites lived in Arabia and of course we read over and over of Arabians who lived in Israel.
DEDAN. A city and people of NW *Arabia, famous for its role in the caravan trade (Is. 21:13; Ezk. 27:20)
It is mentioned in close association with Sheba in the Table of *Nations (Gn. 10:7,. 1 Ch. 1:9) and elsewhere (Gn. 25:3; 1 Ch. 1:32; Ezk. 38:13),
It comes into prominence in OT texts in the 7th century bc (Je. 25:23; 49:8; Ezk. 25:13; 27:20), when it may have been a Sabaean trading colony ; this would help to explain why, in the biblical genealogies, it is associated with both N and S Arabian peoples.
It is mentioned by Nabonidus in one of his inscriptions , and seems to have been at least temporarily conquered by him (mid-6th century bc).
Some Arabian inscriptions are found near TaimaÐ.
The site of the city of Dedan is that now known as al-ÐUla, some 110 km SW of TaimaÐ.
The kingdom seems to have fallen into Persian hands.
Llater still (3rd-2nd centuries bc?) came under Lihyanite rule. With the arrival of the Nabataeans Dedan gave place to the neighbouring city of Hegra (Medain Salih) as the main centre in the area.
GENESIS 25:3 (Ham) And Jokshan fathered Sheba,
and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.
1_CHRONICLES 1:32 Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham ...
Dedan. Here is another son called Dedan. Keturah
was a Canaanite. Her ancestors unknown, but her son is named after Ham's
grandson.
JEREMIAH 25:22 And all the kings... of the isles which are beyond
the sea,
JEREMIAH 25:23 Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all
that are in the utmost corners,
[ Of course there are no corners, these interpretations mean the extreme or
distance place.]
ISAIAH 2:13 The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in
Arabia shall you lodge, O you travelling
companies of Dedanim.
Of course forest should be desert.
EZEKIEL 27:15 The men of Dedan were thy merchants;
many isles were the merchandise of yours hand: they brought you for a present
horns of ivory and ebony. [ This would have been by sailing across the Red Sea
to Africa.]
EZEKIEL 27:20 Dedan was thy merchant in precious
clothes for chariots.
Looks like the descendants of Dedan Ham/Abraham/Keturah were wheeler dealers.
The interactions with the descendants of Dedan took place In Israel and in
Arabia.
Some goofy people would have you think the natives of Saudi Arabia never left
Saudi until 700 AD when Mohammed came to town. They are bible ignorant.
The people of Saudi Arabia.. (many we can identify) came from Canaan and even Abraham himself and they mingled with the Israelites.. they were also descendants of Shem, from the first book of the bible.
***
GENESIS 10:7 Ham... Sheba ....
GENESIS 10:21 Unto Shem ...GENESIS 10:28
... Sheba,
Grand child of Ham and Grand
child of Shem both named Sheba Here it would be ONLY a guess one of the
wives of Shem or Ham was named Sheba and thus grandchildren of Ham and Shem
were named after one of their grandmas.
2_SAMUEL 20:1 And there happened to be there a man of Belial, whose name was Sheba,
the son of Bichri, a Benjamite:.. the names of
ancestors have always been given to children.
1_KINGS 10:1 And when the queen of Sheba (Believed to be in Yemen).. Arabia
1_CHRONICLES 1:32 Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bare
Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the
sons of Jokshan; Sheba, and Dedan.
(Here Sheba is a son and is one of the sons of Abraham who may have migrated
to Yemen) Of course he would have been a Semite.
1_CHRONICLES 5:13 (The children of Gad, Gileadites... descendants of the Egyptian
girl Asenath and Joseph) .. One of the Gadites named Sheba.
Bible names are like Muslim or Spanish names, How many people have been given
the name of one famous person of the past. Doesn't mean they are really
descendants, just that people are named after those the parents deem important
figures of the past.
JOB 6:19 The troops of Tema looked, the companies of
Sheba (Arabians) waited for them. Where was Job when he encountered the
companies of Sheba?
PSALMS 72:10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the
kings of Sheba and Sheba shall offer gifts.
The Israelites had continues contact with the people of
Sheba.
ISAIAH 60:6 The multitude of camels shall cover you, the dromedaries of Midian
and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they
shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the
Lord.
Of course they were not trading through UPS. The Israelites and Arabians were
traveling into each other cities ... and we all know actual stories of what
traveling salesmen do on their road trips.
In modern terms that is all the camels were... UPS trucks and the Israelites/Arabias
were but traveling salesmen.
JEREMIAH 6:20 To what purpose comes there to me incense from
Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country?
EZEKIEL 27:22 The merchants of Sheba (traveling
salesmen) and Raamah, they were thy merchants: they occupied in thy
fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.
EZEKIEL 27:23 Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants
of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were thy merchants.
The Israelites and Arabians continued to mingle and when ever or where ever
men have had money through out history, there were women to be bought. There
were no birth control pills, so the seed of all traveling salesmen would have
been spread far and wide. If some father liked a guy, he could have been given
a daughter for a wife.
Because camels were used, we know both parties passed
through the land as well as by sea. They would have passed through many
Arabian cities before they reached Yemen.
People have always given their children the names of well liked relatives on
the mothers side or the father's side of the family. In order for both the
grand child of Shem and the grand child of Ham to be given the name Sheba (as
well as many more to come), it would make you consider the possibility that
the wife of Ham or Shem was named Sheba.
We do know some of Abraham's descendants migrated to Saudi Arabia, and they
would have been Arabians for the very same reason any one else was an Arabian
there..
(1) That was where they were born or
(2) That is where they settled.
It is out of the bag, the people of Arabia were descendants of both Ham and
Shem.... Ham+Shem does not = Spam but
Shem+Ham= a Sham sandwich.. that
is what the Arabians were.

Sheba: . The land whose queen (*Sheba, Queen of) visited Solomon
(1 Ki. 10:1ff.; 2 Ch. 9:1.) was in all probability the home of the Sabaeans
in SW Arabia. J. A. Montgomery contends that the Sabaeans were still in N
Arabia in the 10th century bc although they controlled the trade routes from
S Arabia.
"The Sabaeans were originally camel nomads, affirms, with greater
probability, that by Solomon's time they had settled in the E area of what
is modern Yemen."
The similarities among Raamah's sons (Gn. 10:7, Hamites, bear the same names
as Abraham's grandsons-Sheba and Dedan (25:3); both
Cush, the Hamite (10:7), and Joktan, the Semite,
have descendants named Sheba and Havilah (10:28-29).
The Table of *Nations in Gn. 10 may reflect both
the Semitic origin of the Sabaeans and also the
fact that they settled in close proximity to Hamitic
groups, i.e. Egyptians and Ethiopians.
Indeed, classical Abyssinian culture testifies to a
blending of Hamitic and Semitic elements, and the role that S
Arabians who crossed the Bab al-Mandab as
traders and colonists played in shaping this culture is impressive.
It is as traders identifies Sheba here with an area near Tema and
Dedan, oases substantially N of the Sabaean homeland) that the OT most
frequently speaks of the people of Sheba. This
extensive trading activity apparently led the Sabaeans to found
colonies at various oases in N Arabia. These served as caravan bases and
probably gave the colonists a degree of control over the N area.
Testimony to interaction between Sheba and Canaan is found in a S
Arabian clay stamp (c. 9th century bc)
unearthed at Bethel.
The most prominent of the Arab states (which included Hadramaut,
MaÐþn and Qataba) during the first half of
the 1st millennium bc, Sheba was ruled by mukarribs.
The American Foundation for the Study of Man found some
outstanding examples of Sabaean art and architecture, which dates from the 7th
century bc.
--- END of the Bible map info. ---
* Sheba ... the Yemen city was on one of the History Channel
programs, where archeologist asserted their dig was that of Sheba's pad.
* In order to get to Yemen, the Israelites would have to had
passed through Saudi Arabia. If they went by ship, they would have passed
all the cities along the cost of Saudi Arabia.
* SHARING NAMES OF COMMON ANCESTORS...Hamites, bear the same
names as Abraham's grandsons-Sheba and Dedan; both
Cush, the Hamite, and Joktan, the Semite,
have descendants named Sheba and Havilah.
People have never ceased to give their children the names of famous
ancestors. These Semites were descendants of Abraham but they were NOT
Israelites. They lived in the same lands as the Hamites and of course they
would share common ancestors .. just like the tribe of Judah shares common
ancestors with Ethiopians and Egyptians.
The Table of *Nations in Gn. 10 may reflect both
the Semitic origin of the Sabaeans and the fact
that they settled in same areas to Hamitic
... Egyptians and Ethiopians.
... Saudi Arabians share the same ancestors Ham and Shem... and we will find
descendants of Abraham settled in Saudi Arabia. All middle east people were
a composite of the original 3 sons. The only thing that made one a Saudi
Arabian / Midianite is that is where they migrated to.
Some of the Arabians ... 32,000
virgin girls left alive and taken by the Israelites may have been
descendants of Abraham. Never the less they were
Arabians for the very same reason any one else in Saudi Arabia was an
Arabian.. that is where their ancestors migrated or that was where
they were born.
***
There is no such thing as a peninsula of Saudi Arabia, the whole
middle east area is one continuous hunk of land. Israel is on the very same
continent as Saudi Arabia, as is Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran and on and
on... Not an Island, not separated from the rest of the middle east by any
geographical definition.
The only dividing lines are political in nature.
The lines you see on modern maps did not exist in the days of the Israelites.
The name of Arabia comes only from wilderness, waste land or isolated place..
Arabia is a type of place not a specific place.
With in what is now called Saudi Arabia had no such boundaries nor was it ruled
by any single government. It was composed of hundreds of tribes, each it's own
mini nation.
The little pink area between the purple and orange is Kuwait. Before the British
split it from Iraq to take their oil, it was a part of Iraq.
Remember these idiots say Jordanians, Palestinians, Iraqis, Iranians are not
Arabs.. "Only people in Saudi Arabia are Arabs"
The ONLY thing that separates Saudi Arabia from any other present day nation in
the continuous land area of the very same continent is political boundaries ..
so if they are right, Mohammed was not an Arab.
The grease bag cult of false Jews equate the word Arab with Muslim. Muslims are
not any race nor the people of any specific area. They are only people who hold
a common religious belief.
.. Any way by the musical definitions of the false Jews, Mohammed could not be
one of the Arabs they hate.
I could not find where lots of the places in the bible about
Arabia were. I looked through all my encyclopedias and my bible map program does
not show them, so I have no grids to place the locations.
I did find some approximate locations in a Wycliffe encyclopedia and pasted them
on the other map.
There are records of "Jewish" settlements through out Saudi Arabia,
Oman and Yemen. On one Discovery Channel or History Channel program they showed
some of the scrolls of Hebrew text and stones engraved in Hebrews.
With global position we will be able to plot maps a whole lot better.
Actual Jews of Arabia = NO connection with the European or mid/southern African cult.
So what happened to all those "Jews" in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen ... 1500 years ago? Well they are quite dead, but their descendants still exist through out Arabia, you can see them on their prayer rugs 5 times a day.
As far as I can determine so far Midian may have been a city,
but it is also the vast land area on the coast of Saudi Arabia and the Red Sea.
