GENESIS 2:8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

GENESIS 2:10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it was parted, and became into four heads.
#1 A place where four water sources meet.

GENESIS 2:11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which surrounds the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
#2 Pison river - thought to be the Indus run in w Pakistan. Most likely the Pison was equivalent to a large wadi which now drains the N Arabian desert ???
#3 Havilah ???

GENESIS 2:13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that surrounds the whole land of Ethiopia.
#4 Gihon : Bible map program states
One of the four rivers of the Garden of *Eden, which has been identified variously with the Oxus, Araxes, Ganges, Nile and many other rivers.
The Nile identification arises from the statement that it wound through the land of *Cush (Gn. 2:13), which is identified with Ethiopia, but it is more probable that the Cush here referred to is the area to the E of Mesopotamia from which the Kassites later descended. If this is so, some river descending to Mesopotamia from the E mountains, perhaps the Diyala or the Kerkha, is possible, though the possibility of changed geographical features makes any identification uncertain.
Many places in the bible have the very same names, so by looking at other land marks you can eliminate many locations.
Note it states the Gihon river surrounds the whole land of Ethiopia.. of course no such river surrounds the present day land in Africa called Ethiopia... How ever "The Gihon river surrounds the whole land of Cush" would be logical. Cush / Kush is the son of Ham.. first generation. Cush himself lived in Iraq (generations later some of his descendants would live in southern Egypt).

If "the land of Cush" is the land where Cush himself settled, that was in Iraq and the statement "The Gihon river surrounds the whole land of Cush" is logical. In the last 10,000 years no river has surrounded (what is now called) Ethiopia... This land of Cush is some where in Iraq or between Turkey and Iraq.

GENESIS 2:14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
#5 Hiddekel river The ancient name of the river *Tigris used in the account of the Garden of Eden (Gn. 2:14) and in Daniel's description of his visions (Dn. 10:4) in the 3rd year of Cyrus. The name comes from Akkadian idiqlat, which is equivalent to Sumerian idigna, i.e. always flowing river.
goes toward Assyria Multiple middle east gobbled up, which are located WEST of Iraq.
#6 Euphrates river runs out of Assyria through Iraq and into the Persian Gulf.

#7 East of Assyria
* Eden had to be located on the west side of the future Assyrian Empire in order for this river to flow east toward Assyria.
* The actual location of two of the rivers are unknown. From space they can photograph areas and find lost cities and dried up river beds of long ago. Such river beds exist in Iraq and some speculate the unknown rivers are there.
* While two rivers are unknown, to the contrary the other two rivers are known (Hyddekel / Tigris and the Euphrates ) These rivers do not intersect any where in the world except Iraq.

Eden located to the * east of Assyria, where the * Tigris and * Euphrates intersect ... there is no present day nation on earth where these 3 facts exist except in Iraq.

Here is the area of the Assyrian Empire map with a close up of Iraq in the upper right.
The Green outline is the area of the Assyrian Empire (which Eden was to the east of ... east = your right ) To the "EAST OF ASSYRIA"
The yellow outline with in the Assyrian map and in the close up map is the borders of modern day Iraq.

In the close up (upper right) map, the Tigris river is the red line and the Euphrates river is the green line.
There is NOT ONE land area of the entire bible that includes these 3 land marks or locations except Iraq... and of course we know that the garden of Eden and the home of Abraham were both in Iraq.
Ur native home of Abraham, 30 48 31N, 46, 09, 35 E
There was a city in Iraq named Cherub (Cherub another name for angels). One speculation is it was named so because it was where the angels guarded with flaming swords, but the Tigris and Euphrates rivers do not intersect there, so this is a false assertion.
Gen 2:10 The water parted and became 4 heads. We know where the Tigris and Euphrates intersect (two of the rivers) so this is the general area where the garden of Eden was.

Why can't all the rivers surrounding the garden of Eden be located?

In the desert near the temple of Khentyamentiu the remains of 14 ships dating back to the early first dynasty (2950-2775 BC) have been uncovered from below tons of sands in the Egyptian desert.

The Abydos ships have the honor of being the world’s oldest planked boats. Above are parts of the planks of the ancient ships that have been found in the desert.

At one time the Egyptians sailed through what is now desert to the port where these boats are uncovered under the sand.

Through Satellite imaging, scientist and archeologist are now able to locate places where rivers used to exist.

Rivers that existed in Iraq in 3000 BC have also ceased to exist and have been covered with sand. Other than satellite imaging, another way to establish that they were once rivers is by the fossils found in the sand.

Two of the known rivers around The garden of Eden intersect in Iraq so it has to be there. The other rivers may be covered by sand today.

Not only was the garden of Eden in Iraq, Abraham's family were from ancient Iraq.

Genesis 11:31 Terah took Abram ...  Sarai ... and they went forth  from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan.

Through the scriptures, the Israelites and all the tribes they encountered can be traced back to having their ancestors being ancient Iraqis. The physical remains of the ancient and modern Iraqis of course belong to the Asian race (which is a different race than we white Europeans)

The Asian race that all Israelites came from are a different than the Europeans calling themselves Jews. If these European 'Jews' were descendants of the Asian race of the Israelites they would look no different than the people of Iraq.

Can you tell which of these girls are not European descendants? Can you tell which of these is a self professing 'Jew' who claim they came from the ancient Iraqis?

Not only did the Israelites come from the Asians of ancient Iraq, if the scriptures are true, all Israelites were also descendants of the black Egyptians. It is right there in your own scriptures http://encyclopediaegypt.com/israel/eg-blond.htm
